Scraps gets into a sticky situation.

"The Patchwork Girl and the Giant" by Harry Mongold and illustrated by Bill Eubank is the first story of Oziana 1971, and therefore holds the distinction of being the first story ever in Oziana. It appears on pages 4-10. Scraps decides she wants to find a hill outside of the Emerald City to roll down, meets an owl trying to get home, and encounters a giant with an important job.
